Sales Professional / Account Executive – West Coast

Sales Position (looking for rising sales star) – West Coast

If you have a passion for sales and technology position we have a fantastic opportunity for you!  One of our three core businesses at Municode is to provide municipalities with turnkey website solutions. We have designed hundreds of local government websites serving millions of residents across the nation. We are expanding our sales and marketing efforts to exponentially grow this portion of our client base. To help us make this happen, we are looking for a Sales Professional to handle all aspects of the Sales process including prospecting, needs analysis, sales presentations, and proposal generation. Successful applicants must have the ability to close deals and consistently generate new business. This position is to be base on the West Coast focused on the states of CA, WA, NV, UT, ID, WY, MT area with a territory focused on the West Coast of the US. 
 
What you will do:

  • Generate and close new business!
  • Build a pipeline of qualified prospects by prospecting, attending conferences, and networking
  • Prepare and present comprehensive and competitive sales demonstrations using our municipal content management solution (CMS)
  • Develop relationships with key influencers and referral partners
  • Track all client/prospect information in our CRM tool including daily activities and opportunity forecasting

What you will bring to the table:

  • Love to sell both over the phone and in-person
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical users
  • High activity producer
  • Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to keep your contacts up-to-date in a CRM system

Where you will work

  • You will telecommunicate from your home office and spend up to 40% of your time on the road prospecting and attending tradeshows
